The state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has approved ₱1.125 billion in funding to support the construction of Marquee Doctors Medical Center, Inc. (MDMCI) in Angeles City, strengthening access to quality and affordable healthcare services in Pampanga.
DBP President and CEO Emmanuel G. Herbosa said the financial assistance will cover the construction of MDMCI’s eight-storey hospital building, along with the procurement of essential medical equipment and hospital machinery.
Once completed, MDMCI is planned to operate as a 200-bed Level 2 hospital, expected to cater to the healthcare needs of around 411,000 residents of Angeles City and nearby communities.
